It finally dawned on me that I am addicted to Hallmark movies. I guess I have known it all along, but now I’m owning it. When I am overwhelmed, stressed out or had my fill of bad news, I switch the tv channel over to the Hallmark Channel and enter my Happy Place. I love seeing that over the last few years that they have been making more and more other holidays movies. I love ALL Hallmark movies, but Christmas movies are my favorite!
This is coming from a person who complains about Christmas Decorations on the store shelves right next to back to school sales and Halloween decoration. Now, I did try to make a stand for years and not buy anything for upcoming holidays two months before the actual holiday, but I missed out on a lot of cool things that were sold out weeks before when I felt it was an appropriate time for Christmas shopping.

We ditched cable and bought an antenna. Saved $100 a month but can’t get Hallmark anymore. However I do watch shows on Netflix and Hulu that I’m sure are the Hallmark movies.

We are kind of in the boonies with TV and internet, plus being at least 50 miles from a tv station. Even though we are on a hilltop, we are surrounded by taller hills that block antenna signals. We don’t have high speed internet or cable available, otherwise we’d ditch satellite tv. I don’t know enough about streaming to even know what to ask about what we need.

Hallmark has a streaming service now. It is around $60 a year. Just do a on line search for it.
